A symptom of Fear and
pride is embarrassment
They all start out
internally, in the mind, but they manifestation themselves externally
What is pride,
arrogance,
cynical insensitivity to the needs of others, and presumption
a
feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one's own
achievements
1. it is
the worship of self
How does it effect you:
2. it will close
you off from God
What is fear, it
is the expectation of something dreadful, or of punishment
1. doubt in God's
ability to honor his word
How does it effect you,
2. hinders and
paralyses
What is embarrassment,
self consciousness impair by
the perceived external or internal perceptions of others
1. focuses on self
and not God
How does it effect you,
- it impairs or hampers you, makes you self conscious, your focus is on self and how it is perceived by others and not no how God see you (through the perfection of Christ and his cleansing blood) .
Your mind is the battle
Ground
What it focuses on is
the doorway
1. the doorway is
accessed by 2 principal players
a. the Holy
Spirit
b. Everything
else
(Side note :
Once you (know, that
is in the biblical scene), the Holy Spirit, you will enter into
that Sabbath rest, another way to say this is to know that you know and once you know fear will find no place in you in this area in your life). I didn't say you wouldn't be attack but you will laugh and rejoice having already obtaining your victory.
Focus on:
How God see us, as
eternal beings made in his image, fearful and wonderfully made, he is
ever mindful of us, we are the temple of his spirit, His children,
king and Priest, but it all made perfect in and though Jesus Christ.
Focus on:
GOD's eternal
unchanging nature, he is the light and always tells the truth
(Side note: Be true
to yourself)
1. Godliness or
goodness starts from within and flows out from his spirit into ours,
from our out to the world.
2. Jesus who is the
God-Man depended on the Father for everything in fact he was so
depended on God he told Phillip if you have seen me you have seen the
father
Jesus is our example of
the true image of God from mans perspective and God's image of man
from HIS perspective.
3. We are told to
depend on God and not on self
a. because we are
all unclean without Him
Isa 64:6 But
we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as
filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like
the wind, have taken us away.
b. Because we
trust Him see the PS
PS 33:21 For
our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy
name.
4. WE live in him and
he lives in us
c. we are connected
to the vine, some are born in but other or grafted in
ex. Jesus did
nothing without the father, we should do nothing without Jesus
b. we move and
breath and live in him if we are his.
5. God's nature is
unchanging so it stand to reason his attributes are as will.
Lies change, but truth
is always the some. Doubt can waver, but faith always believes. God's
love is not swede by our action or the circumstances, it always is.
God is love, the same
today, yesterday and forever: (eternal)
6. We are eternal
beings, all our action may have eternal consequence, but our
perception of our self should always flow out of God's vision of us.
What have we learned?
Embarrassment is and
illusion of the mind, focused on self perception and not on God's
perception. It changes with the times, but God's view is eternal
unchanging Sela.
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ
the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jas 1:17 Every good
gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the
Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning. on self perception and not on God's perception. It changes
with the times, but God's view is eternal unchanging Sela.
Scriptural Ref:
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ
the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jas 1:17 Every good
gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the
Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of
turning.
Nu 23:19 God is not a
man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should
repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and
shall he not make it good?
Heb 6:18 That by two
immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might
have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon
the hope set before us:
John 15:1 ¶ I am the
true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me
that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth
fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
4 Abide in me, and I
in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in
the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye
are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same
bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith
unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not
known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how
sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
